La Generalitat de Cataluña, a través del Instituto Catalán de las Empresas Culturales (ICEC), bajo su marca de internacionalización Catalan Arts, ha prestado su apoyo para traer, por primera vez, una delegación catalana de 7 empresas a BitSummit: 2Awseome Studios, Abylight Studios, BCN Game Fest, Dust Games, RebornPlanetStudios, Titutitech y Vanova.
