DESCRIPTION
The legendary creators of a classic action game
return for one final stage—set in ancient Japan.
Overview
In the early 2000s, an RPG titled "Navinosuke: The Yo-kai Buster" was quietly in development.
Though never released, this long-lost title is finally coming to life after 20 years in slumber.
Set in a fictional version of ancient Japan, this 2D pixel art RPG follows Navinosuke, a trainee onmyoji (who also happens to be a mechanical onmyoji),
as he travels across the land solving supernatural disturbances caused by mysterious yo-kai.
More than 150 unique yo-kai appear throughout the journey—some as foes, some as friends.
Through heartfelt encounters, many of them will join your party as allies.
The game features turn-based battles enhanced by a unique “shikigami system,” encouraging strategic team-building and support tactics.
Now being rebuilt for Nintendo Switch™, the game retains the charm of its original pixel art and retro effects,
while updating the UI and gameplay feel for a modern audience.
Infused with the same playful spirit and passionate energy as 20 years ago, a brand-new adventure is about to unfold.
