DESCRIPTION
The most fun two people can have in the same room without agreeing on anything.
Own Time Own Target is a 2D 1v1 shooter that puts two players across a divided battlefield… think a sniper duel across a tennis court, trading bullets instead of balls. Short rounds. Instant rematches. The loop is built entirely around reading your opponent and outplaying them.
The feel is deliberate: the crunch of landing a shot, the snap of triggering a super, the satisfaction of a well-timed power-up grabbed mid-fight, and the dark joy of watching your opponent finished off by a falling wall rather than by anything you did. That last one never gets old.
Each round shifts the conditions. Walls fall and reshape the battlefield. Environmental hazards drop in. Power-ups fall Smash Bros.-style into play. Supers charge as you fight and unleash with a single combined input. No two sessions play the same, and neither player ever really feels safe.
Easy to pick up between friends or strangers. Far too satisfying for something this ridiculous. Friendship not guaranteed.
4 arenas with procedural hazards, day-night and weather cycles 8 fighters with distinct playstyles rooted in a world with genuine personality Local play at launch, online PvP in active development
THE WORLD
Shiokmenistan is what Singapore becomes a hundred years from now, after a slow collapse strips the island of everything it built. The billionaires left first. The institutions followed. What remained: the people, the heat, the harbour, and whoever was tough enough to hold it. Territory is the only currency. Durians, improbably, are the reserve.
