The BitSummit Executive Committee today unveiled the official venue map and dedicated event page for BitSummit PUNCH, the 14th edition of Japan’s premier indie game festival. Alongside these launches, the committee is announcing an expanded influencer lineup set to appear across all three days of the event.

BitSummit PUNCH runs May 22–24, 2026 at Miyako Messe in Kyoto, Japan. May 22 (Fri) is the Business Day; public doors open May 23–24 (Sat–Sun).

Stage Hosts & Opening Performance

Returning BitSummit favorites Aichii (Yokomachi Ai) and J-mon are back as MCs for all three days. On the public days (May 23–24), Professor Sakamoto kicks off proceedings with a high-energy live set.

MCs

Aichii (Yokomachi Ai): A gamer announcer who has MC’d BitSummit since BitSummit Gaiden. A self-professed game addict who plays everything — console, PC, mobile — at all times. Always broadcasting, always hunting for the next great game.

J-mon: A bilingual (Japanese/English) Game Enjoyer with a deep love for games and the people who make them.

Opening Performance

Professor Sakamoto: A game music performer and composer who wears a Famicom on his head. A specialist in retro game arrangements and chiptune composition, his original album SKMT hit #1 on the iTunes Store Electronic chart for both album and single simultaneously. He has contributed songs to idol groups including Mini Pati and SKI-HI, appeared on Japanese TV programs, and performed internationally at DreamHack Sweden, Japan Expo France, and PopCon Dubai.

A fan engagement campaign is running on BitSummit’s official X account, timed to live broadcasts from the Official PR Supporters booth on the public days (May 23–24) at Miyako Messe 1F. For the second year running, live-streaming platform 17LIVE (Ichinaname) is partnering with BitSummit! Fans will be able to meet and chat with participating 17LIVE VTubers in a dedicated space on the show floor.
Additionally, the top 5 17LIVE creators selected through an in-app tie-in event will appear in a co-branded OOH advertising campaign at Kyoto Station from May 18–24. Keep an eye out if you’re passing through.

Four members of TIZZ TRIDENT — a top-tier gaming creator collective on TikTok — are joining as Official Reporters for BitSummit PUNCH, with a combined SNS following of over 700,000. They’ll be reporting live from the show floor across all three days, with main stage coverage streaming from the official BitSummit TikTok account.
