Thumbylina is a fingertip-sized, companion-style growth simulation device. When you set the in-game timer for studying or exercising, your character works hard alongside you—leveling up their own skills while unlocking new outfits and hairstyles. Unlike smartphone or PC timer apps, Thumbylina is completely offline, ensuring zero notifications to distract you from your flow.
The device is built on Thumby, an open-source, thumb-sized hardware platform. By connecting it to your PC via USB, you can download updates for new fashion items or even install other compatible games.
While each unit is handcrafted and not suited for mass production, the vision is to roll out a wide variety of models through small-batch, multi-product manufacturing. The ultimate goal? To spark and expand the "Indie Game Hardware Movement."
