DESCRIPTION
Dancing with Ghosts is a sweet, charming, and poignant, Studio-Ghibli type narrative game with an original art style. It is set in a small river village in Thailand. Gameplay centers around a deeply compelling ghost-story. This story is about a 15 yr-old girl who has lost her joy in life, and an 11 yr old ghost, who only she can see. In the game, the girl helps the ghost solve the mystery of who she is and why she is stuck here, and the ghost helps the girl reconnect with the joy of life. Players play as both the girl and the ghost. As the ghost they can enter people’s bodies and hear their thoughts. The game has life-sim aspects, cultural mini-games, and a theme of helping others and appreciating life. It is also an authentic, and deeply respectful love-letter to the people and culture of Thailand, made by a predominantly Thai and SE Asian team.
