Patch Quest
Patch Quest is a one of a kind roguelike, bullet-hell, metroidvania, monster collection, shooter game. This punishingly cute, beautifully crafted hybrid of game genres will lasso you in with its fast paced gameplay and keep you coming back to expand your monster collection to fight your way through Patchlantis.
Begin the game by setting up base camp in the middle of the open world of Patchlantis. Get your lasso ready to catch your monsters to help you fight other monsters, to navigate through a shuffling patchwork maze. Earn exploration gadgets as you play to unlock extra mechanics, collect monsters, collect over 100 plants, unlock gates, open shortcuts and unravel the mystery of why Patchlantis fell.
Monsters are against you until you tame them with your lasso, mount them and fight with them using their unique skill. You can send your monster back to base and they can level up as you fight with them. Be careful though as once they’re HP is gone they’re gone.
Every species can be mounted, and they all have unique skills! As you ride and fight with them you’ll level up your affinity.
- Buzzerker can take flight
- Sandamander can tunnel underground
-Torrentoise has a hard, reflective shell
-Combusdile can spit hot fire
-Velostrich has lightning-fast reflexes
As you ride and fight with them you’ll level up your affinity and gain new mount skills. Send them back to base camp when you need to and summon them while exploring the world.
Once home to a lost civilisation, Patchlantis has now been fully reclaimed by nature. Fierce monsters, rugged terrain and booby-trapped ruins are all a fact of life, here. Even the island's patchwork terrain will get shuffled each night by a powerful storm!
Every single run will help you get a little bit stronger, until you can face even the toughest of beasts. You can draw power from the mystical plants and ruins within Patchlantis giving you buffs to help you on your way through the perilous.
