Since 1997, he has been involved in scenario writing for the Dragon Quest series, serving as the director for installments VIII through X as Yuji Horii’s right-hand man.

In 2018, he founded Storynote Inc., and has handled the narratives for numerous games, manga, and video productions.

He launched the ARG brand The Fourth Boundary in 2024, and as its General Director, he continues to pursue “unprecedented forms of storytelling” through projects such as Hito no Saifu (A Stranger’s Wallet) and Hito no Kyuyo Meisai (A Stranger’s Payslip).
